Friday night Tyson and I went to the batting cages and miniature golfing. We left the camera home, so we didn't get any pictures, but it was a lot of fun! Previously I hadn't been to
any batting cages and was a little intimidated by them...not any more.
The batting cages we went to had big plastic bats (the animal) hanging from the nets for Halloween decoration. Tyson hit one of them twice (I don't think on purpose, but it was a good aim) and it was crazy watching them all bounce around after the balls hit the net. It set the tone for spooky Halloween season to begin. Mini golf was just as fun. They had all sorts of decorations out for Halloween there too. One of the funniest decorations we saw was a skeleton sitting in an outhouse waiting for you to hit your ball in the hole, under the outhouse. Once your ball went in the hole, the "toilet" was flushed. It really made us laugh.

Weekend Get Away
(Picture not to be use without written consent from author)
A couple weekends ago we were able to spend the weekend at this cabin with our
sister and brother-in-law. We enjoyed our time with a great view from the cabin, a small
stream nearby, playing with our 8 month old nephew, and reading books. Our sister
and brother-in-law enjoyed going fishing. We are not very big fishing fans, so we passed
on the fishing, but it was fun to watch our sister catch one for the first time. :D

Yellow Stone
On Monday we went to Yellowstone with one of Tyson's sisters and her family. It was one of our nieces' birthday, so we celebrated as we traveled.

Tyson's Birthday
TYSON'S BIRTHDAY!
On Sunday we had all the family, who could make it, come over for a birthday dinner. Our house isn't quite big enough to fit everyone inside, so luckily we have a GREAT park across the street and had the dinner there. It is always fun to have all the family be able to be together for events like this. We sure miss the ones who are too far away, and can't make it!
Tyson had fun playing a game of wiffle ball baseball with the kids and some of the adults.

All the others enjoyed sitting around talking.

For his actual birthday day, Tyson just wanted a day off from work to go and enjoy activities he doesn't get to do very often. To start the day off I made him breakfast in bed, after getting ready for the day we went to the Theater and watched Harry Potter 7.2 (he really liked it!), then went to Cafe Rio for lunch. After lunch he did have to do some homework for his class he had to go to last night, but overall it was a fun day to spend together!

Family Reunion
June 10
For this day of the family reunion we all went to Zions National Park for some adventures. Below are pictures of some of the things we did.
On Saturday we stayed and Granny and Grandpa's house and painted some shirts. Below are pictures of us putting all the thought and effort towards our final project. Each person was able to choose what to paint on their shirt.

Re-Roofing
Tyson and some of our family undertook the big project this past week of re-roofing our house. They were GREAT troopers and even stuck too it with all the rain we had. A BIG THANK YOU to all those who helped us with this big project. We couldn't have done it without them!
