🎈Happy Birthday 🎈
Four years ago we received the greatest blessing of having Porter join our family. There is never a dull moment with Porter around! We had to be in the car all day for his birthday but he was happy the whole day and excited it was his special day.

Funny Phrases
P has started to say some things that always bring a smile to my face. Here are some of them for you with a little of the stories to go with them:
"I'm too little for Primary" and "I'm too big for church"
These two phrases came about from P being old enough to change from Nursery to Sunbeams. He really loved going to Nursery every Sunday. (Really who wouldn't though? You get to play with toys, have snacks, sing songs, and just have fun). Sunbeams has been a big adjustments. Now having to sit still during Sharing Time and then going to class after that. Either Tyson or I have had to go and sit with him each Sunday to help him try and stay in his class. P's little mind has been working hard these last couple of months trying to figure out a way he can go back to Nursery and not have to go to Sunbeams any more. These are two of the phrases he has told us in is reasoning to get out of going to Sunbeams. Its fun to see his little reasoning skills mind going. Its taking its time, but he is also starting to do a little better each Sunday at staying in his Sunbeam class on his own.
"Mom, your beautiful"
As we were out driving around running errands the other day we were stopped at a stop light and talking about our surroundings and what some of the signs and different things meant. A couple minutes later P just said, "Mom, your beautiful". It totally made my day! He is becoming very thoughtful of others and is always concerned when he sees someone who is not happy.
"Hi"
P loves to say "Hi" to anyone he sees. We can be out on a bike trail by our house and he says "Hi" to whoever we pass, or we can be walking through a store and he will look a person in the eye and tell them "Hi". It's always interesting to watch others reactions since little boys his size usually don't just talk to strangers like that, but P loves bringing smiles to others faces.
"3 more minutes"
Lately P has started telling us, "3 more minutes" when we tell him it is time to leave somewhere or to finish with what he is playing with before he moves on to the next thing. This one came about because we started telling him a couple minutes before we were leaving places that he only had a couple minutes left so to clean up the toys he was playing with so we could go. He is now trying to reverse the role of who gets to set the time frame. Makes us laugh.

Having Fun
P having fun with C. They love playing together. C is always checking to see where P is and P for the most loves to share his toys with C.
During Christmas P just wanted to play in the snow all of the time. He didn't care how cold he was he wanted to stay outside and play. Here he is having fun shoveling it off the sidewalks.
Merry Christmas
Having lots of fun with cousins on Christmas Eve.
P was excited for his "digger" but more excited for his "race cars".
Loves playing with both of them all the time.
